Chicago Sensor introduces adjustable-height float switch

Chicago, IL, January 21, 2014: Chicago Sensor, Inc., a leader in the manufacture and distribution of liquid level sensors in the U.S. and internationally, introduces our new flexible height stainless steel liquid level sensor: the FLT235A series.

The new design offers durable stainless steel construction with a float diameter of just one inch. Each switch comes with two hex nuts and two silicon o-rings. The stem features a 2.4 inch long threaded section which allows users to mount the switch, high, low or at different heights from time to time to adjust to varying level-sensing objectives. The overall stem length is 4.9 inches.

Developed by Chicago Sensor for a commercial refrigeration manufacturer, the switch can be used in a variety of applications. Small quantities of the sensor, which carries an internal reed rated at 50 watts, are kept in stock and ready for immediate shipment. Order quantities in the thousands can generally be produced in just three to four weeks.

Chicago Sensor designs, manufactures and distributes liquid level sensors and switches for use in a wide variety of OEM applications.
